Watch: Jeffrey Morris talks deal with DUST, the future of sci-fi and more

Entertainment news website Criticologos recently caught up with FutureDude’s Jeffrey Morris to talk about the the arrival of his short films, Parallel Man and Oceanus, to the sci-fi streaming channel DUST.

Morris shares his experience pitching original ideas in Hollywood, landing the deal with DUST and where he hopes sci-films move in the future.

I want to see some smarter [ideas] that are more challenging. That’s what I grew up – I miss the stuff that was in the 60s, 70s and early 80s. To me, once you get out of the 80s, film changed. I miss those days, and I think it’s time to bring that stuff back, but use today’s technology to do it.

Watch the full interview below and stream Parallel Man and Oceanus, now available on DUST.
