A lot has happened in the last few months. In early December, we wrapped an incredible practical special effects shoot in Minneapolis, featuring handcrafted miniatures of the Eagle in action. The morning of December 6, 2024 marked the final day of shooting for The Eagle Obsession. Jeffrey Morris was joined in Stillwater, Minnesota by Todd Morton (Space: 1999 Props & Ships) and Jan Wenneberg (Creator of the amazing 1/4-scale Eagle build in Denmark) at the office of FutureDude Entertainment. The three sat down for a conversation about what the journey to make The Eagle Obsession meant to them.  Plus, we secured rights to the iconic “Fly Like an Eagle” by the Steve Miller Band for our opening credits!

Our team has made excellent progress on Editing and Post-production since shooting wrapped. We have already completed editing the first 40 minutes of the 90 minute target run time. We also have another 25 minutes nearly completed as of mid-March.  Test audience reaction to select segments has been overwhelmingly positive. The quality of the footage and the human connections we have formed working on this film have been truly special. We can’t wait to be able to present the finished film later this year.
